Brassia Bridget Beattie

Brassia Bridget Beattie

A hybrid of Brs. aurantiaca × Brs. pozoi, combining the compact, clustered flower habit of aurantiaca with the elongated, spider-like form of pozoi. The inflorescences are arching and multi-flowered, with narrow, strap-like sepals and petals that taper into long, slender tips and a well-defined lip at the center.

  • Light: Bright indirect light with 40–60% shade cloth; avoid harsh direct sun, which can scorch the foliage.
  • Temperature: 60–80°F (15–27°C); an intermediate to warm grower that adapts well to stable indoor conditions.
  • Humidity: 60–80%; moderate to high humidity promotes vigorous pseudobulb development and prolific flowering.
  • Watering: Water thoroughly and allow the medium to approach dryness between waterings; never allow the roots to sit in standing water.

Additional Notes

Grow in a coarse bark-based mix or mounted on cork bark to accommodate its active root system. Shipped bare root and well established.
