Anthurium warocqueanum (seedling)

Anthurium warocqueanum (seedling)

A seedling of one of the most coveted velvet Anthuriums, grown from select stock at Ecuagenera. It displays the characteristic elongated, velvety dark-green leaves with a deeply impressed venation that defines this species.

  • Light: Bright indirect light with 60–70% shade cloth; avoid direct sun, which bleaches the velvety texture.
  • Temperature: 60–75°F (15–24°C). Intermediate to warm grower; avoid cold drafts and temperatures below 55°F (13°C).
  • Humidity: 70–90%; high humidity is essential. Use a humidifier or enclosed growing space for best results.
  • Watering: Keep the mix evenly moist but never waterlogged; use a chunky, well-aerated mix to prevent root rot.

Additional Notes

Best grown in a mix of orchid bark, perlite, and sphagnum moss. Terracotta or net pots recommended for airflow. Ships bare root, well-established seedling (~10cm). Grown at Ecuagenera, Ecuador.
