A miniature species from the cloud forests of Ecuador, producing pendant flowers on slender, drooping inflorescences. The flowers display broad, triangular sepals with short lateral tails and a distinctive monkey-face lip, characteristic of the genus.

• Temperature: 50–65°F (10–18°C); a cool grower requiring stable temperatures and good air movement.
• Humidity: 80–90%; high humidity is essential throughout the year.
• Watering: Water frequently to maintain even moisture; do not allow the medium to dry out between waterings.

Grow in a fine bark or sphagnum moss mix with excellent drainage. Shipped bare root and well established.
