Gomesa Moon Shadow 'Taige Tail' BM/JOGA

Gomesa Moon Shadow 'Taige Tail' BM/JOGA

A floriferous hybrid of Gom. Hornet × Gom. Big Bee, producing arching inflorescences densely packed with numerous small, star-shaped flowers arranged along wiry, branching stems. The sepals and petals are narrow and spreading with a firm texture, and the broad, fan-shaped lip provides a bold focal point to each flower.

  • Light: Bright indirect light with 40–60% shade cloth; avoid harsh direct sun, which can scorch the thin foliage.
  • Temperature: 55–72°F (13–22°C); an intermediate grower that benefits from a moderate temperature drop at night to encourage flowering.
  • Humidity: 60–80%; moderate to high humidity supports vigorous pseudobulb development and prolific, long-lasting blooms.
  • Watering: Water thoroughly and allow the medium to approach dryness between waterings; avoid prolonged saturation at the roots.

Additional Notes

Best grown in a coarse bark-based mix or mounted on cork bark to accommodate its branching inflorescences and active root system. Shipped bare root and well established.
