Paphiopedilum Cocoa Rose

Paphiopedilum Cocoa Rose

A hybrid of Paph. In-Charm Circle × Paph. Enzan Crown Tree, combining two complex slipper orchid lines selected for their large, well-rounded flowers with strong substance. The dorsal sepal is broad and upright, the lateral petals extend horizontally with a firm, slightly wavy margin, and the deep pouch is prominently structured.

  • Light: Bright indirect light with 50–60% shade cloth; avoid direct sun exposure, which can cause leaf scorch.
  • Temperature: 60–75°F (15–24°C); a warm to intermediate grower that performs well in stable indoor environments.
  • Humidity: 60–80%; consistent moderate to high humidity supports healthy growth and reliable blooming.
  • Watering: Water thoroughly and allow the top of the medium to approach dryness before the next watering; avoid waterlogging at all times.

Additional Notes

Grow in a coarse bark-based mix in a plastic or glazed ceramic pot to maintain adequate moisture without saturation. Plants are shipped bare root and well established, with a strong root system ready to adapt to a new medium.
